This week I featured my fall decor which included some basic chalk art. Then my friend Christy over at The Muddy Apron posted one of her chalk projects, which I love. And I’ve said before that I don’t have the fine art gene. Well, she does, but don’t let that scare you because she did a handy-dandy tutorial that will help one and all, fine art or no fine art genes.
Not to spoil your read, but she used chalk markers, and I’m going to try the brand she used because the last set I used didn’t wipe off well so I’ve been using regular chalk, and you can see that hers looks a lot sharper than mine.
She’s also going to use this same design for Christmas, but tweak it a tad (I won’t give away the details, you have to check out the post to see.). We’re all about saving time, right? It’s a great idea to make decorating a little easier.
And if you’re interested in more chalk art (I know you are), check out the sign Christy made for her baby boy on the way. Love, love! And she goes through the process of how she made that as well.
Happy chalking!
