Two of my kids have December birthdays so we don’t usually do big parties, but I do invite the family over. Since Christmas is in full swing and I usually only have a couple days to plan, I’ve been learning to simplify. This year I only bought a few things and used Christmas decor and what I already had for an easy pink Elmo party.
My new favorite thing is downloading printables from etsy. Before we had a laser printer, I would print them at FedEx Office (they have great customer service and do it quickly). But now I can print them at home using the laser printer, card stock, and adhesive paper for water bottle labels, etc.
I loved this pink and red Elmo party set from Amanda’s Parties To Go, which even included her name and age and it was emailed same day.
I also bought some polka dot tulle, with a discount because I ordered three.
And my best brainstorm was buying this iron-on appliqué Elmo/number patch for her outfit. It was so easy and only $7!
Then I made a trip to Party City for balloons and paper goods and we were set!
And one of the best parts of a December birthday is the hot chocolate bar!
For two year old birthday gift ideas: I recommend tissue paper and a Little People barn.
All partied out.
That’s a wrap for the Elmo birthday.
