I’m behind in putting up Christmas decor, but one of my favorite things to do is plan out my Christmas tablescape. Even if we’re not hosting, I like to spruce up our dining space with some fun pops of red, and this year I went with a red, white and silver theme. And the best part is that I just shopped my house to put most of it together!
I started with the red burlap runner from Hobby Lobby and some placemats from Home Goods. I like using a couple different placements to mix it up a bit. I just got the World Market Nantucket plates for Thanksgiving and love them! So versatile for every holiday, and a perfect match with the red chargers.
And then I topped it with a red plaid cloth napkin from Home Goods (also on Amazon) and wrapped it with some red and white striped ribbon to make it a bow tie. I don’t often use my wedding crystal because of the hand washing part, but Christmas is a good excuse to use them!
For the centerpiece, I used some candleholders I got on consignment and from Pottery Barn (similar ones are available on Amazon too) and some votives. And instead of a using a candle in the center, I used bottle brush trees to add some greenery. Then I wrapped some felt garland with some vintage tinsel garland and then added some some lights from the Target Dollar Spot to weave around the candle bases.
And finally, I added in the white crocheted lace ribbon from Hobby Lobby to break up the red in the runner.
I’m excited to host my family for Christmas around this festive space!
