It’s been in the high 60’s this week so no pool or beach for us this spring break (but believe me, I’m not complaining since it isn’t snowing!), but it’s still feeling like spring and I am ready for it! To celebrate the season, I did a little spring refresh in my guest room that I’m excited to share. I’ve also collaborated with some other talented bloggers to do a spring Blog Hop and I hope you’ll hop on over to their blogs for some great spring inspo at the end of this post!
You may remember that I redid this room last year for the One Room Challenge, and it was already looking pretty springy, but I wanted to give it a quick spring update.
The basics for this spring refresh:
- Pillows
- Blanket
- Faux florals
I started with these mauve pillows at Pottery Barn, and the best part was that they were 25% off. The cream pillows are “old,” but feel new again with a different paired pillow.
Then I added a blush, cream and gray blanket I got at Home Goods.
And lastly, faux florals…everywhere. I always watch out for the 50% sales at Hobby Lobby or Michaels.
I like functional hooks in the guest room, but adding a bit of florals makes it functional and pretty.
I usually get all my faux florals from HL or Michaels, but these tulips are from Magnolia Market.
And my Lolly Letters “Hello” wreath is the perfect touch in this space.
The gold chair came from my daughter’s room – she didn’t want it anymore.
I just can’t get enough of all the spring colors and florals!
My kitty approves, too. 😉
Now hop on over to my friend Jennifer’s blog at Happy Home on Haddon to see some beautiful and fun pops of spring in her home!
And you won’t want to miss the rest of the amazing spring inspo posts in this Blog Hop:
