Naturally the first room that is somewhat put together in our new house is the craft room craft/guest room. In our last house, my craft stuff was in the basement and we had a dedicated guest room, but no basements in CA so we had to combine.
We didn’t have room for a full bed so we got the Pottery Barn Pearce upholstered deluxe sleeper sofa, and it’s designed without bars or springs so it’s supposedly much more comfortable. We’ve been impressed with the bed and comfort of the sofa, but not with the fabric. The PB associate said not to get the “performance” fabric, because it doesn’t hold up as well (seemed strange, given its name) so we got the twill, but we’ve only had the sofa a few months and it’s bally like an old sweater. Anyone else had this experience?
Other than that, we love the sofa bed and our guests have said it’s more comfortable than a regular sofa bed.
I used the empty frames from my last guest room and added a few things that I got recently from the Queen Bee Market (“Create” from JunkArtGypsyz and the “find beauty and capture it” from HEart by CC). The “Love the Journey” sign was from a deal on jane.com and the wreath is from Target Dollar Spot. I made the cross at MOPS and my son made the tulip art at school. I still need to add a couple things to the top frame.
This is my main crafting station, except for the TV, which is for guests. I got the wall art from Queen Bee market (“Dream Big” is from Salty Bison and the CA sign, right arrow, and big camera on the bookcase is from JunkArtGypsyz). The bookcase is the one I recently redid with BB Frosch chalk paint (love!).
How fun is this fan?! I got that and the table from Home Goods.
I got all the crates from Home Goods as well. Love how they give some height/organization.
Most of the tins and jars are from Target Dollar Spot and Home Goods. The prints in the clipboard are from The Journey Unexpected.
I had the burlap flowers for a wreath I need to make – might as well use them as decor until I do!
The table is our old Pottery Barn kitchen table, but it’s too deep so I will be DIYing a new table next draft.
I got both the cart and container from Home Goods for paint stuff.
I had some extra paint from the bookcase so I redid this shelf as well. This print is also from The Journey Unexpected. I need to add some washi tape in my next draft.
Maybe I should advertise this room as a B&B for crafters as well. 😉 Any takers?
