Happy Easter weekend!
So thankful for this time to reflect on Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice for us, His resurrection, and the Hope it brings. It’s the only thing that makes sense when we see so many senseless things happening in our world. Our debt was paid in full.
I am making an effort to fill my heart with gratitude this weekend. Especially because our family is in a different spot than we were two years ago when I wrote Time to Hope on Easter. I’m so grateful for how God has delivered my husband from those health challenges and blessed us on this journey.
I’m excited to celebrate with family this weekend – I’ve been having fun putting together our Easter decor and John came up with a delightful menu (below).
I used a lot of what I already had…Pottery Barn placemats, Home Goods runner and napkins, and I added the Bulls-Eye Playground jars with some candy as a place card and then I painted some mason jars with BB Frosch chalk paint powder and added some Heidi Swapp tape for the centerpieces. Added the tulips and wah-la: Spring beauties!
Isn’t the basket my preschooler made adorable? I was so excited the colors matched my decor!
Our Easter menu
Honey Baked Ham
Four-Cheese Scalloped Potatoes
Marmalade-Glazed Carrots with Candied Pecans (John said we had to do this since it’s carrots…bunnies, haha!)
Happy Easter, friends!
